Kayaking

This is how we 'roll' in West Virginia.

Kayaking

West Virginia offers kayakers and paddlers the opportunity to explore more than 24,000 square miles of rivers amidst some of America's most scenic countryside. And our rivers offer everything from tranquil waters to big waves, swirling hydraulics and sweeping waterfalls.

Kayaking and canoeing options across the state are available for the beginner through the experienced paddler. Opportunities exist for paddling and fishing, paddling to spots where you can rock climb right out of the water or go on multi-day river trips.
