Paid time off
WVU offers a robust and generous annual and sick leave program. Depending upon the type of position, eligibility for paid annual leave ranges from 15 to 24 days for full-time employees.
Employee may also be eligible for other programs such as FMLA, medical leaves of absence, workers' compensation, compensatory time off (CTO) and military leave.
WVU benefits-eligible employees on average are eligible for 13 paid holidays per fiscal year.

All benefits-eligible employees are enrolled into a 401(a) defined contribution plan retirement savings account with TIAA. Employees contribute 6% of gross pay, and WVU matches 6% every pay. Employees are vested immediately.

WVU Employees Span the State
WVU is a family of distinctive campuses united by a single goal: to provide a quality education. We have campuses in Morgantown, Keyser and Beckley and Extension Offices in all 55 West Virginia counties. The WVU Health Sciences Center also has campuses in Morgantown, Charleston and Martinsburg.
